Hi! Welcome to the PE Club website

My name is Jumper and I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. I have a long standing passion for health and fitness and love being able to help people in this industry.

My speciality is working with busy professional parents and helping them get the body they want.

At PE Club, I have a personalised focus on the individual. What are your goals, and how do we work together to achieve them? Whilst the basic fundamentals of fitness apply to nearly everyone, it’s the nuances that help create success on a real and sustainable level.

I have been in and around the gym my entire adult life, and developed a passion for, in particular, resistance training. Fortunately, through opportunities and circumstance, I have been exposed and fallen in love with many other different aspects of physical training.

I have certificates in functional fitness, power/explosive work, nutrition, and am currently working through a conditioning course with a highly respectable conditioning coach based in USA. These certificates provide some insight into my range of interests within the fitness industry.

One of the biggest advantages I have over other fitness professionals comes from my working background. Ironically, perhaps, not directly in the fitness industry.

I spent a decade working as a tradesman, working and living in several different countries. Following that, I spent ten years with the New Zealand Police in what was both an immensely challenging and rewarding role.
During my time the police I spent three years on the Armed Offender Squad (inspired mostly by 1980’s action movies!) and qualified as a detective, working with extremely vulnerable members of the community. Ultimately, I made to the move to leave the police to spend more time with my family.

On the home front I have an incredibly supportive and amazing wife with three wonderful daughters that keep me busy (and motivated).

So, I know first hand, how important it is to be fit and healthy for your loved ones. The stronger you are, the more you can invest into those around you. And if you’re a parent too, you know that means investing A LOT! A lot of time, energy and resource.

It’s not easy. I understand that firsthand. Long days, shift work, bills, organising kids, laundry, cleaning, *insert list of never ending things here*.
But nothing changes if nothing changes. It’s time to invest in your health, especially if others depend on you. It may seem counter-intuitive, but it’s one of the least selfish things you can do.

Whether you used to be an athlete but it has been a while, or you have never stepped foot in a gym and wouldn’t know where to start – send me a message and let’s begin a conversation – and potentially your very own journey – to get you the body you want.
